How to vision and manifest a new business and lifestyle

If you are trying to create a new lifestyle and that includes leaving a job you don’t like, then visioning is a great way to get you into the right mindset to start the process!

What does it mean to vision?

When you vision, you allow yourself to think about what your heart really wants. You are basically developing a picture of where you want to be in the future or how you want your future to look.

If you are starting a new project, wanting a new job or business, or desiring a great relationship, your success with attaining these things all boils down to having a positive vision of what you want. If you have a negative attitude, it can drag you down and even keep you from attaining your desired lifestyle.

Your vision is YOUR picture of success. That looks different for everyone, so it is important to tune in to what you want so you are able to create the lifestyle you are after.

It’s important to note that a vision is not a plan or map of how you will attain what you want. The vision is the actual result or destination. It is the treasure you are longing for.

Why visioning works!

The reason why visioning works is because it gets you into a positive state more naturally. When you vision, you are thinking about what your perfect outcome is, and that usually makes you feel good when you think about it. It lifts your energy and has a positive feeling. As a result, your ideas tend to flow more easily when you are in this state. More ideas mean more possibilities for how to get it accomplished.

My vision worked and here’s how!

I worked at a job I hated and felt sad every day I had to go into work. Without knowing what I was doing, I started saying things like, “I want to work for myself. I want to work from home. And I want to be around my doggies all day.” I was visioning the life and business I wanted to own. I didn’t worry about how I would get there. Furthermore, there were no steps or directions about what I needed to do first, second and third. I just knew those things were true. This vision lifted my spirit when I was at work. What tools work best for how to vision?

If you are trying to figure out how to vision, it’s really simple. You can vision by simply meditating on what you do want. If you want to make things more concrete, then you may want to write your vision on a white board in your office. Also, make a vision board and include pictures of your desired outcome. Get creative and be playful. The point of visioning is to get you into a positive state of mind.

Can I manifest a car, house, boyfriend or money?

Yes, you most certainly can manifest a car, house, boyfriend (or girlfriend) or money! Visioning simply gets you to think about possibilities and opportunities. You have to have a destination or vision in mind in the first place to know where you are headed. Remember, visioning is not about planning and steps. It simply gets you into a positive mindset. I was able to manifest a business working from home, rental homes, vehicles, dogs, all kinds of things through visioning.

Steps for how to vision a new business and lifestyle

Get clarity about your values. Then think about what matters most to you. Write those things down.
Next, think about the future and what you would love for it to look like. What things would you like to have? Where are you living or working? What lifestyle are you living? Jot those things down.
Write your vision as a statement. Write a few sentences, simple and short about what you want. They should be written with confidence and clarity.
Go online or grab some magazines you love and print out or clip pictures that look like your vision. Then post them on your wall or create a vision board. Get into the details. For example, if it’s a new business you want, find pictures that represent what your new business looks like, how you look working, and what your clients look like. This will help you “see” what that business does and who it helps!
Let your vision statement become your new mantra. Say it to yourself while doing simple tasks at a job you no longer like. Also, speak it out loud when you are washing dishes or doing chores around your house. Get into the positive feeling it brings you when you think about it.
Finally, take one action that gets you closer to your vision each day. If your vision is to work from home and own a blog, then write one blog post. The little steps matter. Again, don’t get boggled down by the how. Just do a task that gets you closer.
